Free Updates for the Entire Antidote Product Line

Druide informatique announces the release of free updates for the entire range of its renowned writing assistance software. These updates improve both the English and French correctors, add hundreds of new words to the dictionaries and introduce a number of improvements on all platforms.
Antidote 11 v5 corrects texts more quickly and more accurately thanks to a host of analyzer improvements for English and French, including better handling of lexical errors. Extensive work has also gone into the dictionaries: 900 new words have been added in English, including memeable, exposome, disinflationary and parasocial, as well as thousands of pronunciations and synonyms. The French edition also features 1000 new words and expressions, including bougnette, mirusvirus, pulaski and vélorue. The update also provides users of both languages with over 6800 new translations, as well as 8000 improved translations. Special attention was paid to forest-fire and arms terminology, two topics making headlines recently.
Version 5 has been updated for compatibility with macOS Sonoma; most notably, Antidote’s integration with Mail has been completely redesigned. Support for integration with Adobe’s Creative Cloud 2024 (InDesign, InCopy and Illustrator) has been added. A new filter handles raw HTML, including tag parsing. Finally, the LaTeX filter now supports three popular new macro packages (glossaries, fancybox and setspace).
Antidote Web includes all these features, plus new functionality. Access controls have been fine-tuned to manage the corrector’s various functions individually, and the application is now able to accommodate a wide range of exam conditions for English or French education.
Antidote Mobile benefits from the same expanded dictionaries and adds some exclusive new features. Users can share definitions, guide articles or results in the Discoveries game with others through Messages. The application has been updated for compatibility with iOS 17, including Stage Manager.
Antidote 11 for Windows and Mac will automatically prompt users to download the update and the App Store will do the same for Antidote Mobile. Antidote Web has already been updated. Users who own an earlier edition of the software can upgrade to Antidote 11 by visiting www.antidote.info.
