For over 40 years, the Les amis de Louis Guillaume association has awarded the annual Prix du poème en prose to one French-language work written entirely in prose poetry.

This past January 27, in Paris, the jury announced the results of the 2017 edition. Hélène Dorion came in second for Le temps du paysage, behind Belgium’s Françoise Lison-Leroy, who prevailed with five votes against three for Le silence a grandi (Éditions Rougerie).
