Louise Portal Nominated for the Prix des lecteurs

The Prix des lecteurs is awarded to an author from Quebec’s Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. It recognizes the most popular book in the region’s accredited bookstores and public libraries, and according to readers of the newspaper Le Quotidien and internet users. Louise Portal, from Arvida, is among this year’s finalists with her short story Pauline et moi.

The winner will be unveiled on September 29 at the opening ceremony of the Salon du livre du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.
