October 23, 2025 Announcements

Rachel Stone, one of Druide informatique’s English Lexicographers, recently joined the Dictionary Society of North America’s Executive Board for a four-year term. The Society’s mission is to “bring together people interested in dictionary making, study, collection, and use.” Headquartered in North America, it has over 400 members from 40 different countries.

“As a first-rate reference in both English and French, Antidote is at the forefront of dictionary work and trends,” says the new appointee. “This position is a great opportunity to find inspiration for Antidote and to share the software, its tools and its features with people interested in lexicography and related fields.”

Stone has worked on the Antidote English Lexicography team since 2016. She studied linguistics and classics at McGill University and previously interned at the Dictionary of Old English.
