Antidote Web to Remain Free Until the End of the Year

June 30, 2020 Press releases

Almost three months ago, Druide informatique answered calls for assistance by making the cloud edition of Antidote available to its multi-user customers free of charge until June 30, 2020. As a result, users temporarily deprived of Antidote 10 by lockdown measures could once again use their writing assistance application while working remotely. Now, this offer has been extended until December 31, 2020.

“Currently, 377 organizations of all sizes, from companies to educational institutions, have accepted our help to provide 1,255,700 users with the benefits of Antidote Web. A significant number of them have said that they will continue working remotely during the fall,” explains André d’Orsonnens, Druide’s president and CEO. “We’re happy to be extending the period during which Antidote Web will be free until the end of the year for all of those who will remain stuck at home without access to their usual tools.”

“With Antidote Web, users get Antidote’s correcter, dictionaries and guides directly in their browser,” notes Éric Brunelle, president of Druide and chief architect of Antidote. “Since our offer of assistance began, many people have let us know how much they appreciate Antidote’s cloud edition, both for its familiar interface and its ease of access via the internet.”

Antidote Web’s tools can be run from most Web applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Hotmail, etc.) and the most popular tools for working remotely such as MS Teams, Slack and Skype. What’s more, when the freely downloadable Connectix tool is installed, Antidote Web can even correct texts in local applications such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Apple Mail and Pages. This way, Antidote users can enjoy efficient integration with both cloud and local applications.

A subscription to Antidote’s cloud edition will be offered free of charge until December 31, 2020, to organizations holding a multi-user license for any edition of Antidote that includes a subscription to the Antidote Maintenance Program (AMP), as well as to institutions holding a School Site License. License administrators should contact Druide’s commercial department to take advantage of this offer. Owners of a single-user Antidote 10 licence, whether they downloaded it or acquired the box, already enjoy the benefits of a free subscription to Antidote Web. This offer is now extended until December 31, 2020. Full details are available in the Customer Portal on druide.com.
