New Update for Antidote 11
Druide informatique announces the release of Antidote 11 v3, a free update to its writing assistance software. This new version enriches both Antidote’s grammatical analysis and its dictionaries, including thousands of new words and expressions in English and French. It also debuts new resources to help you get started with Antidote, including short video capsules.
Antidote 11 v3 offers faster and more accurate correction, benefitting from numerous refinements to its analyzers. The dictionaries have also undergone extensive work, with more than 5500 new English words added, including micromobility, masago and plogging, as well as thousands of pronunciations, synonyms and combinations. French hasn’t been left behind, with more than 800 new words added, including micromobilité, tobiko and visiocomparution. What’s more, 40,000 new translations are available to users of both languages. Thanks to a new discovery option, users can explore a selection of these recent additions. Finally, every dictionary has been updated and now reflects, for example, the political and royal transitions in the United Kingdom.
In a major new feature for v3, it’s now simpler to get Antidote up and running. A new window opens a collection of resources to users, including all-new video capsules for quick and pleasant discovery of the main facets of Antidote’s many tools. Access to the Antidote blog is also included, providing valuable information for the entire community.
In terms of compatibility, v3 adapts to the most recent updates to Windows 10 and 11 (22H2), as well as to macOS Ventura (13). It brings integration with Spark on Mac and a whole host of new software versions. The Connectix utility also benefits from simplified support and more detailed documentation. Finally, the LaTeX and Markdown format filters have been improved.
Antidote 11 will automatically prompt users to download the update. Owners of an earlier edition can upgrade it at www.antidote.info. In addition to their own new features, the Antidote Web and Antidote Mobile applications inherit, as always, relevant improvements from Antidote 11.
