The Druide Classic annual benefit golf tournament has raised a grand total of $635,000 for the foundation.

Druide informatique’s Head of French Lexicography, Julie Rinfret, has been appointed by the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF) to a four-year term on its committee that establishes standards and makes recommendations for writing used by Quebec’s public service.

Vélo Québec awards Druide informatique its third VÉLOSYMPATHIQUE certification for its concrete and consistent support for cycling. It is a silver certification, awarded after Druide implemented Vélo Québec’s recommendations.

Réinspire was awarded the Druide Grand Prize for Business Creation at the Montréal region’s 26th OSEntreprendre Challenge. Winners in all official categories were also presented with a copy of Antidote+.

Totaling $20,000, the Antidote Scholarship in NLP is endowed by the Druide Fund for Research in Text Analysis, created through a donation from Druide informatique to Université de Montréal.

The award recognizes the student’s outstanding performance in the “Délie ta langue!” eloquence contest finals and includes a $5,000 bursary. Moreover, finalists from 13 universities all received Antidote+.

New functionalities, including correction directly at the source, will allow Antidote to replace WebElixir.

The 12th Druide Classic and the ensuing campaign raised a record sum for a single tournament, bringing the grand total donated to the foundation since 2009 to over $500,000.

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Druide will match every donation made online between now and June 30, 2023, up to a maximum of $30,000.
