Alain Beaulieu Earns a Distinction for Excellence

On November 19, at the Salon du livre de Montréal, the Écrivains francophones d’Amérique (ÉFA) association presented its annual awards. At the ceremony, Alain Beaulieu received a distinction for excellence for his novel L’interrogatoire de Salim Belfakir.

Founded in 1936 as the Société des écrivains canadiens, the ÉFA is the oldest writers’ association in Quebec and has included in its fold such literary giants as Alain Grandbois, Gabrielle Roy and Victor-Lévy Beaulieu.
