Druide informatique and its subsidiary, Éditions Druide, held their fifteenth annual golf classic to benefit the Fondation Paul Gérin-Lajoie. The event raised $93,000, bringing the total contributions to the foundation since the Druide Classic’s inception to over $800,000.

This year, to start off the celebrations for Antidote’s 30th anniversary, Druide pledged to match every dollar donated by its customers, partners and employees, up to a maximum of $30,000.

The money collected will enable the foundation to support two school initiatives in equal parts. The first aims to improve schooling conditions for young people across Quebec. Funded projects include renovating and improving school playgrounds as well as implementing homework help programs. The second contributes to the development of educational tools for the Dictée P.G.L., which has reached students from across Canada, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, the United States, Guinea, Morocco and Senegal this year.

The Classic concluded with a delightful dinner showcasing Myo Devices, the winner of the 2026 Druide Grand Prize for Business Creation. Cofounders Elya Quesnel and Armand Bahabi introduced the 170 or so guests to their mechanical device that transforms wheelchairs into personalized at-home rehabilitation platforms. This innovative device is meant to restore the independence of people with reduced mobility and to maximize their functional recovery.

Druide thanks everyone who contributed to the event’s success and is pleased to announce that the sixteenth Druide Classic will be held on June 1, 2027, at Club de golf Saint-Raphaël in Île-Bizard.
