Marc-André Gaudry Joins
Radio-Canada’s Comité de terminologie

November 11, 2025 Announcements

Radio-Canada has invited Marc-André Gaudry, a lexicographer at Druide informatique, to participate in its Comité de terminologie, whose mission includes coming up with French counterparts to new terms and sharing the fruits of its labour. Many neologisms coined by the committee already appear in Antidote’s dictionaries.

“By collaborating with this committee, I can share the expertise of Druide’s lexicography team, who regularly assesses neologisms,” says Gaudry. “It’s also a great opportunity to help enrich the language shaped by web culture, whose development I find particularly interesting.”

Gaudry has a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and joined Druide’s team in 2022.
